# How to Sign "Sign Language" in Sign Language

Probably the most important sign to know when you're first signing! Make sure to commit this one to memory.

## Signing "Sign Language"

1. **Hand Shape**: Form both hands into a “1” handshape, with your index finger extended
2. **Sign Location**: Position your hands near your chest.
3. **Movement**: Move both hands in a circular motion toward your body, almost similar to the traveling gesture in sports.
4. **Facial Expression**: This is typically signed with a neutral facial expression.

## Fun Fact

If you sign this with an inquisitive facial expression, it can mean the entire phrase, "Do you sign?" or "Do you know sign language?"
